Okay, there will be none of those long-winded intros here and that is a promise. We are delighted, nay, we are beside ourselves that you have decided to pay us this courtesy call. And as we are mindful of your time (we are already grateful that you are even here), we bow our salutes and hope that you enjoy your stay.

A Short Lecture- forgive us please...

The ELDDS meets every Saturday morning at 10.00 am to 12.00 p.m in Sec 3/6 classroom. It is small but a cosy place where we let our imaginations  run riot. Every week, we will either practice acting exercises or rehearse upcoming plays. We learn, in our experience, how to project our voices and the proper way to warm up before a performance and other tips on acting.

           

We have, in the past, acted in the annual Literature Festival with plays such as "MACBETH", reenacting Shakespeare's famous tragedy and originals such as "YAKSHA & SITA". We bagged the SILVER award at the Singapore Youth Festival last year, with our own play written by Teresa Ho of 3E1, "JUST CALL ME".
